Dan Uggla Can't Wait To Get A Hold Of Today's Starter POINTSHAVERS.COM 07/03/08 - Today marks Day 25 of our sports gambling version of the popular TV Show "Who Wants To Be A Millionare." Instead of answering 15 questions in a row, here at PointShavers.com we will pick 7 three-teamers in a row starting with just $2.00 Dollars. We did the math, and if you start with $2.00 Dollars and win seven three teamers in a row, you will make over $1.35 million dollars. What a breeze!!! The Yankees absolutely destroyed the Texas Rangers yesterday in an 18-7 route. It was nice to see a runline play come in comfortably; however, we were sweating it a little bit early in the game when Yankee pitcher Sidney Ponson gave up consecutive two run homers in the sixth inning with no outs. So time to start another winning streak, right? Well, just like the NY Mets...we can't seem to stand prosperity. And after an easy game yesterday, we're going for a tricky one today. For some strange reason, the Florida Marlins are coming into Colorado as underdogs. The Marlins were in a similar spot against the Seattle Mariners two weeks ago and cruised against bad pitching for a convincing win. Tonight, I expect Marlins to jump all over the Rockies as the Colorado Rockies just activated LHP Mark Redmond (2-3 W-L, 7.84 ERA) who will be replacing the Colorado's original starter, Jeff Francis (injured left shoulder). The Marlins are neck-and-neck with the Phillies for the lead in the NL East; however, there has never been a sense of urgency in that division. The only significance in this game is the return of Dan Uggla who has been sidelined with an injured ankle. The team is anticipating his return over the weekend; however, he may make an early appearance tonight if his ankle feels pretty good. He can really boost his numbers in the high altitude with tonight's starter. Take Florida Marlins (+105) vs Colorado Rockies
For the other two picks and 3-teamers for this entire promotion, pay just $3.00 Dollars to become a millionare at PointShavers.com.
